Robert Mantell, along with co-counsel David Belfort of Bennett and Belfort, P.C., succeeded in demonstrating that their client, Rick DaPrato, was fired by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, for taking and requesting FMLA leave.  The jury awarded $1.2 million, representing lost pay, emotional distress damages, lost pension and punitive damages.
